Approach

How a La Madre project runs.

Six phases, each with a result you can see. The order is fixed; the depth of each phase depends on your use case.

01The phases

From first conversation to handoff.

  1. 01

    Discover

The real process, the real data and the real constraints, written down.

You getProcess map, data inventory, list of stakeholders and constraints

  2. 02

    Architect

Decisions written down, with the reasons behind them.

You getTarget architecture, access model, risk register

  3. 03

    Build

Working software early, running in your environment.

You getCode and configuration in your repositories and tenant

  4. 04

    Evaluate

Evidence that the system is good enough, before go-live.

You getEvaluation results against agreed criteria

  5. 05

    Deploy

Through your change process, not around it.

You getProduction release, monitoring, rollback plan

  6. 06

    Hand off

Your team can run it without us.

You getOperating documentation and knowledge transfer

02Governance-aware engineering

Built so the review has good answers.

Governance is easier when it is designed in. These are the practices we apply on every project.

01

Access follows identity

The system acts as a real user, or as a clearly scoped service identity, with permissions your identity provider already controls.

02

Data stays put

We connect to data where it lives. Copying data to a new place is an explicit decision, documented with its reason.

03

Evaluation before go-live

We agree on what “good enough” means, build the tests and share the results before anything reaches users.

04

Humans where it matters

Human review is placed where the risk is real, so it protects people without slowing everything down.

05

Traceability

Logs and decision records make it possible to answer what the system did, and why, after the fact.

06

Operable by your team

Documentation and handoff are part of the scope, not an afterthought.

03Working with your teams

IT, security and compliance are in the room early.

Business owners
Define the use case, the value and what success looks like. Involved in every phase.
IT and platform teams
Join in Discover to share constraints, environments and standards.
Security
Review the architecture in Architect, not after the build.
Compliance and legal
Define the requirements we build to, and review evaluation results before go-live.

04Your data

How we handle your data during a project.

  • We work inside your environment and accounts wherever possible.
  • Access is granted by you, scoped to the project and removed at the end.
  • We don’t use client data to train models.
  • We sign your NDA or provide ours before any data is shared.

05Working together

Across time zones and languages.

  • Our working hours overlap with U.S. Eastern and Central time.
  • Weekly progress review with a written summary.
  • Decisions and open questions kept in writing, in a shared place.
  • We work in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
